About the Project
Rise of the Fifth Sun is a fantasy action figure project created by artist Jason Rodríguez, drawing inspiration from the mythology and traditions of ancient Mesoamerica.
Filmomentum designed and developed the project’s website using a customized free WordPress theme. The goal was to create an online space where visitors could explore the characters, learn about the project, and discover the stories behind its designs.
We also photographed printed prototypes to help present the figures and their details.
One of the website’s more unusual features is an interactive Aztec calendar calculator. We developed it as a fun addition for visitors, giving them something to explore beyond the project’s main content.
The website brings together Jason’s artwork and research with our web development and photography, creating a home for the project as it continues to grow.
