ABOUT FILMOMENTUM
Filmomentum was founded in 2010 by Paris David Escandón, a motion graphics designer, and Santiago Escribano, a professional video artist. The project was born after they met through a video editing blog managed by Paris. Today, Filmomentum has branches in Spain and Canada.
Filmomentum Canada currently provides whiteboard animations, video editing, motion graphics and video production services in Southeastern Ontario, from Ottawa to the Thousand Islands.
Filmomentum supports the local community by helping other artists on their projects and local Ottawa organizations, such as Runway for Hope, the local chapter of the Kidney Foundation of Canada, the CNIB, and Recovery Day Ottawa, among others.

Paris Escandón
Legally blind artist born in Mexico City and living in Canada since 2007, with almost 20 years of experience working with video and motion graphics. Throughout his career he has also produced and hosted television and radio programs in Mexico and Canada.

Solange Escandon
Ottawa area native, with an Honours B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Communications from the University of Ottawa, and recipient of the Baxter and Alma Ricard Scholarship. She has had the privilege of living and working in different countries, and has a wide range of experience from academic research to teaching, translation, and policy.

Stevens Cossy
Originally from Ottawa, he is a musician since childhood and has two decades of experience in music production supporting local Ottawa artists. His broad skillset includes web development and engineering.

EDGAR WOLV
Graphic arts teacher and graphic designer with experience in publishing and advertising. Writer in Rolling Stone México, Panini Cómics México, the defunct Editorial Vid and many other specialized video game magazines.

Jorge Martín del Campo
Born and raised in Mexico City, he has 23 years experience in audiovisual field, mainly in production and postproduction of feature films and advertising.

Jiliane Courteau
Originally from Ottawa but now based in Vancouver, she is a professional organizer, systems optimizer, and entrepreneur. Her nearly 15 years in the tourism industry have included work in the public, private, and non-profit sectors, within Canada and abroad.
