In this episode, professor Sayra Cristancho features a paper by Osinski and colleagues, who bring attention to the potentially beneficial role of meteorite impacts in understanding the origin of life on Earth, and whether life exists elsewhere. As they explain, it is becoming apparent that such impacts could have created hot springs which might play a role in the development of habitable conditions on planets.
